Please use the search field above to find your boat, either by boat name or number.

The images on this site were taken at The Great River Race 2019, which was held on Saturday 14th September, from a vantage point on the North side of the Thames between Barnes railway and Chiswick bridges. At this stage, the competitors have completed just over half of the gruelling 21.6 mile course and are digging deep in the realisation that they still have miles to get to the finish line. It was at this point that photographer Julian Deghy chose to capture this epic London river marathon. He has captured almost all of the individual boats, their crews and even the support vessels and pleasure boats, singled out against the Thames’ south shoreline, creating a stand-alone record of each boat and her crew for posterity.

If you were one of those intrepid competitors, you can search for your boat using the search box, either by your boat’s name or entry number. From the individual boat’s sales page (accessed via the “All Boats” tab), you can download a free jpeg that you may use to post to social media or send to your friends.

You cab also order beautifully crafted photographic prints, in a selection of sizes and finishes. Perfect for birthday and Christmas presents!!

There are a few boats that have possibly been misidentified (due to the haphazard nature of the race) and a few that were not recorded on the day. If you were one of these boats, sorry!!

If you have any enquiries, requests or questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
